Milena Oliveira

Milena previously worked at Pinheiro Neto, a top Brazilian law firm recognized at the Chambers Latin America Awards 2020 as the best law firm in Latin America, where she specialized in Private Equity, Venture Capital, M&A and structured finance. Her previous practice was in the corporate law area, advising local and foreign clients in several industries on transactional and advisory matters, focused on M&A, joint ventures, private equity deals and corporate reorganizations, as well as in advising local and foreign clients on corporate governance matters. Milena has over 12 years in private equity and venture capital deals, having assisted SoftBank in the majority of its investments in Brazil, and many other important players in the tech and fintech market.

Milena has an LLM (Master of Laws) in Banking, Corporate, Finance and Securities Law from the University of London – The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.

At Volpe, Milena is responsible for negotiating our transaction documents, an area where we give special focus. She is also part of our Investment Committee where she contributes with her deep knowledge of the Brazilian regulatory framework and corporate finance experience.
